Sigh. Japan.
Lol. I'm going to have to agree with my blog's counterpart, we're pretty much pissin in the wind. So I can probably be as honest as I want concerning the trip we made to Japan. I believe that I'm allowed to say I've traveled to enough places in my life to make a fairily decent judgement of maybe not a country but specific cities "character"(the only word that really comes to mind after working for over twelve hours). Mainland Japan (Because I heard that Okinawa doesn't really enjoy Americans due to marines doing stupid things, I feel I'm allowed to talk a little crap since they talk crap about the air force) really left probably the best impression in my mind, of a country I would actually love to live in. MOST people in Japan seem honest, VERY polite, hardworking, and really take pride in their work, whether it be working at McDonalds, being a conductor on a subway train, or yelling at people to come to their restaurants or stores. I'm not sure if my blog counterpart thinks I sound crazy yet, but I'm probably just comparing it to the place I'm living in now, and honestly, a day hasn't gone by when I haven't missed Japan yet. A few things that I didn't really like too much when I was there was, NO ELEVATOR MUSIC (soooo many weird and awkward moments in crammed elevators with people with the whole elevator being totally silent...), Squatters (Self explainitory if you're from a country that only uses toilets), and money (this didn't really bug me too much except when we went to the arcades because the "dollars" were the same size as quarters and I probably spent about 400-500 dollars more than I wanted to just because of that fact). I'm probably going to finish this later because I'm starting miss Japan again, especially since I'm back in NEBRASKA... FAIL.
